CROWDED HOLIDAY

This project was inspired by "crowding". In a big city like Guangzhou, China, the busy work on weekdays makes people exhausted, and people are very eager to have time to play and relax. So once it is a holiday, especially a 7-day holiday like the National Day, people will frantically flock from all corners of the city to public spaces where people can rest and entertain. It caused various city jams during the holidays and congestion in modern cities. From the perspective of spatial density, I painted a scene of rapid population gathering within a certain range.

 

Then, I picked four specific spaces: park, pool, subway, and museum. I use the protagonist's perspective to show people's ideal vacation and reality as well as show the contrast between ideal and reality. Maybe the holidays will be more tiring?
